Head coach Tim Corbin on Smith: “We saw Christian as a sophomore in high school at our fall camp. There is offensive potential in his left-handed swing. He showed the ability to drive the baseball in the fall, while playing all three outfield positions at various times. He will just need time and strength development to realize these abilities.”
