Austin Nye Pronunciation

Head coach Tim Corbin on Nye: “Austin has always shown a high acumen for pitching, and as a freshman he became one of our most reliable starters, bringing a consistent presence and approach each time he took the ball. He will be a leader on our pitching staff as a sophomore, and we will rely on him in a significant way. Austin was an Omaha Challenge winner for the Pitchers, which speaks to the fitness commitment he made over the summer and continues to grow in. He has a maturity beyond his years — serious about what he is doing, self-driven, and low maintenance. You know exactly what you are getting from him in every facet of campus life. He holds high expectations for himself both on and off the field and continues to excel academically.”
