Pride Game Set for Jan. 14

Vanderbilt women's basketball will host its annual Pride Game on Jan. 14 vs. Missouri

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt women’s basketball team’s annual Pride Game is set for Jan. 14 against Missouri. Tipoff is set for noon and will air live on SEC Network.

Vanderbilt Athletics invites all members of the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies to attend the program’s annual Pride Game. Fans will receive a free limited edition Vanderbilt women’s basketball Pride t-shirt while supplies last.

A portion of the ticket proceeds will go towards benefiting Inclusion Tennessee, a Nashville organization with the mission to connect people, opportunities, and resources to enrich and enhance the love of the multi-faceted LGBTQIA+ community.

Before the Pride Day game, fans can attend the Pizza and Pronouns event hosted by Vanderbilt’s KC Potter Center and Athlete Ally group. The Pizza and Pronouns event will begin at 11 a.m. in the Admiral’s Room at Memorial Gymnasium. This event is free to all in attendance.

Nashville in Harmony, Tennessee’s first musical arts organization specifically created for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expression, and their allies, will be performing the National Anthem at the Pride Game.
