- Vanderbilt won the coin toss and elected to defer. Bradley Ashmore, Ethan Barr and Jaylen Mahoney represented the Commodores for the coin toss
- The Commodores registered 306 yards on offense with 228 of those coming through the air
- With a fumble recovery today, Vanderbilt recorded a takeaway in every game this season

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
- Junior Sherrill registered his third receiving touchdown of the season. He became the eighth freshman since 2008 to have at least three receiving touchdowns in a season
- Freshman London Humphreys has four touchdown catches this season while freshman Junior Sherrill is up to three with his score today. The last time Vandy had two freshmen with at least three receiving touchdowns each was Brandon Barden (4) and Jamie Graham (3) in 2008
- Kane Patterson took down Tennessee’s Joe Milton to mark his second sack of the season. Kane and Langston Patterson led the Vandy defense with eight tackles each. Kane Patterson totaled 2.0 tackles for a loss
- Jaylen Mahoney registered two pass breakups in today’s game to bring his career total to 17. That is tied for the fourth most in program history:

- Langston Patterson finished today’s game with eight tackles marking the sixth consecutive game registering at least five. Patterson recorded a fumble recovery on a muffed punt, the first of his career
- Sophomore linebacker Bryce Cowan tallied a career-high six tackles
- Ken Seals threw his 28th career passing touchdown on a five-yard toss to Quincy Skinner Jr. The score marked Skinner’s fifth career receiving touchdown
