- CJ Taylor, Langston Patterson and Richie Hoskins represented the Commodores for the coin toss. South Carolina won the toss and elected to defer

- Vandy posted five tackles for loss, marking nine of 10 games this season with at least five

- Randon Fontenette registered a team-high-tying seven tackles and registered one tackle for loss, making it his fourth consecutive game posting a stop behind the line
- For the second straight game, CJ Taylor posted a team-high-tying seven tackles to mark the fourth time this season he has posted seven or more stops
- Diego Pavia led the Commodores on the ground, rushing 12 times for 77 yards and a touchdown. It was the fifth game this season Pavia led the Dores in rushing yards including the third time in the last four games
- Loic Fouonji had three receptions for 23 yards, his first time this season with multiple catches
- Cornerback Kolbey Taylor made the first tackle for loss of his career
- Eli Stowers led the offense for the sixth time this season with four catches for 41 yards. His 41 receiving yards were a team-high, marking the fourth time leading the Commodores in that category this season
- Junior Sherrill has tallied a catch in 21 consecutive games dating back to last season. Sherrill has 21 catches for 331 yards this fall, surpassing last season’s totals recorded in 12 contests in both categories
- Linus Zunk made a career-best five stops
- Maurice Hampton Jr. posted a season-best four tackles
- Linebacker Langston Patterson recovered the second fumble of his career, his first this season. Miles Capers forced a fumble for the second time this season
- Martel Hight forced the first fumble of his career
