- Richie Hoskins, Langston Patterson and Marlen Sewell represented the Commodores for the coin toss. Vanderbilt won the toss and elected to defer

- Randon Fontenette registered 10 total tackles, a career high
- Diego Pavia threw one passing touchdown against the Tigers for a season total of 16, moving him into a tie for sixth on the Dores’ season record list. Pavia also led the team in rushing (43 yards) for the sixth time this season, and the quarterback’s second quarter, 36-yard rush matches his longest of the season
- Yilanan Ouattara forced his first career solo sack along with a career-high five total tackles
- Junior Sherrill has tallied a catch in 22 consecutive games dating back to last season, and has had multiple receptions in seven straight games
- Quincy Skinner Jr. matched a season-high in receiving yards with 72
- Langston Patterson notched double-digit tackles (13) for the third time this season
- Loic Fouonji collected a season-high 55 receiving yards while adding three receptions for the second straight game
- Eli Stowers now has multiple receptions in nine out of 11 games this season
- Bryce Cowan matched his season best in tackles with four
- Jesse Mirco has a punt of 50 yards or more in five consecutive games. Mirco also ran for nine yards to convert a fourth down, for his third career rushing attempt and second longest career run
- Brock Taylor is 10-for-10 on field goals in the last seven games. His 17 total is the second most by a Commodore in a season
