Team Notes:
- Vanderbilt moves to 4-2 on the season, the best start to the year since the 2008 campaign when Vandy went 5-1 through the first six
- Tonight’s win marks the first back-to-back wins at Kentucky since winning two-straight in Lexington in 1992 and ‘94
- This is the second time under Clark Lea that Vanderbilt has won back-to-back SEC contests, the first time since defeating Kentucky and Florida in 2022
- On the opening drive, the offense pushed a season-long 97-yard drive that resulted in a touchdown. Vanderbilt improves to 4-0 on the season when scoring on the opening drive
- Vandy scored on both the opening drive of the game and the first drive of the second half, marking the first time since the season opener against Virginia Tech the Commodores scored points on the opening drive of each half
- The Dores’ touchdown with 13 seconds remaining in the first half is the latest touchdown to end a half since the 2021 season at Tennessee
- Vanderbilt held Kentucky to just 13 points, the fewest points allowed in an SEC win since Nov. 24, 2018 vs. Tennessee (38-13)
- Vandy’s defense has forced a fumble in two consecutive games
- The defensive unit has an interception in 10 of the last 12 games dating back to last season. It also is the first time the Dores have had multiple takeaways in back-to-back games since Ole Miss in 2023

- De’Rickey Wright picked off Kentucky’s Wilson Berry after a bad snap, for his sixth career interception and his first of the year. Wright returned his interception for nine yards to push the defense over 100 yards of interception returns this year
- Kicker Brock Taylor went 2-for-2 on the night, including posting a 50-yarder to improve to 4-of-5 this year from distance. Taylor became the first Commodore to make four of at least 50-yarders since Carey Spear made four during the 2012 and 2013 seasons
