NASHVILLE — Patrick Raby enjoyed a stellar season as a sophomore right-handed pitcher for Vanderbilt in 2017. He evolved into the Commodores’ Friday night starter and ended the season with a 10-4 record and a team-best 2.73 ERA. Raby went on to play for USA Baseball’s Collegiate National Team last summer.
Raby, now a junior, joined the Commodore Insider Podcast to discuss Vanderbilt’s start to the 2018 season, his own journey to West End as a recruit from Knoxville, how he hopes to improve his pitching and what to expect from the Dores as they open SEC play this weekend at Mississippi State.
