• USF continues to be one of the top offensive teams in the nation. Scoring 10+ goals in a game 10 times this season, including four 20+ goal games, USF ranks 18th nationally in scoring offense (14.43), third in shots per game (35.86), and fifth in shots on goal per game (24.71)
• South Florida has a chance to go undefeated in conference play, becoming just the second program ever to do so in NCAA D1 history within their first two seasons
• A win over Vanderbilt would give USF sole possession of the conference crown in just its second season of competition
A New Draw Queen in Town
• Freshman Gabby Putman put on a show in the Commodores’ 14-11 win over Mercer, finishing with not only her first career goal but tallying nine draw controls in the win
• The New York native posted back-to-back games with at least nine draw controls before setting a new personal best 14 wins on the circle in the conference opener against Old Dominion, which tied the single game program record set by Kiera Runske earlier this season. Putman then set a new career high and program record 16 draw controls after Vandy’s win over Charlotte
• Putman has already totaled 92 draw controls, topping Brianne Gross’ single season record that was set in 2021

• James Madison used a five-goal third quarter to pull away from Vanderbilt in a 14-9 victory on Saturday afternoon at Sentara Park. Vanderbilt (8-8, 3-2 American) battled back from an early deficit, tying the game at 6-6 at halftime and taking a 7-6 lead early in the third quarter on a goal from Shea Panzik
