UPDATE 4:15 p.m. Wednesday: Vanderbilt will now be departing at 6:45 a.m. Thursday.
Vanderbilt College World Series Central
Vanderbilt’s baseball team will depart Hawkins Field for Omaha and the College World Series on Thursday morning. A formal team send-off/pep rally that was tentatively scheduled for Wednesday will no longer take place due to Thursday’s early departure time.
However, fans interested in rising early to send the team on its way may still do so. The team bus will be located by the Parmer Field House on the west side of Memorial Gym and will be departing approximately 6:45 a.m.
