NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt men's tennis is set to take the court at home on Friday as the Commodores will host the Black and Gold Invitational from the Lummis Family Tennis Center.

The event is the first and only home competition of the fall season for the Dores; they last played fall matches at home in 2023. The Black and Gold Invitational will run through Sunday with matches following a hidden dual format. Middle Tennessee, North Alabama and Ole Miss make up the other competing teams. On Friday, the Commodores will face the Lions while the Rebels and Blue Raiders matchup against one another on the remaining courts.

Freshman Leonardo Ljubicic will make his debut this weekend for Vanderbilt; he will be joined by freshman Roshan Santhosh and sophomore Donghyun Hwang. Hwang remains unbeaten in singles play so far after a 3-0 start at the Starkvegas Showdown in September.

First serve on Friday is set for 8:30 a.m., with singles play to open the day and doubles to follow. Streaming will be available online with live stats expected to be accessible before the start of matches via IonCourt.
