NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Duke Miles became the third Vanderbilt men’s basketball player to agree to a pro contract, signing an Exhibit 10 deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.

In his lone season with the Commodores, Miles averaged 16.1 points per game while averaging 4.5 assists. He helped guide the Dores to a second-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and the program’s first victory in March Madness in over a decade.

“Duke is used to being doubted and also used to proving people wrong,” said Vanderbilt head coach Mark Byington. “I believe his basketball intelligence and ability to be good on and off the ball will help him be successful. He has a great personality, and coaches and teammates will love having him be a part of their team.”

Miles also averaged 2.61 steals per contest, racking up 73 swipes on the season. His steals per game mark matched Frank Seckar for second all-time in a single season at Vanderbilt while his 73 takeaways also tied Seckar for third on the single season list. Miles also posted the second-best free throw percentage in program history at .901, hitting 136-of-151 at the stripe.

Over his collegiate career, Miles averaged 12.5 points per game to amass 1,800 total points. The guard was a .351 shooter beyond the arc while connecting at a .480 clip from the field.

Miles joins New York Knicks draft pick Tyler Nickel and Los Angeles Lakers signee AK Okereke in reaching the pro ranks from the 2025-26 Commodore squad.
