NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt women’s golf senior Lynn Lim was named an Academic All-District selection by College Sports Communicators. Lim was also selected to the ballot for Academic All-American consideration.
Lim posted a 3.965 GPA as a political science major and has never recorded a grade below A-minus in any course over her four years at Vanderbilt. A three-time WGCA Academic All-American, Lim will earn her fourth WGCA honor in the coming weeks. She has also received Dean’s List recognition in every semester during her time at Vandy.
This is Lim’s second selection to the CSC Academic All-District team. She is now eligible for the Academic All-America selection process, culminating on July 7.
This season, Lim has put together a 72-stroke average with five top 25 finishes. She set the Vanderbilt school record with a round of 9-under-par 63 to open the Clemson Invitational. Lim went on to earn co-medalist honors, marking her first career win in the collegiate ranks.
Five other Commodores from lacrosse, bowling and men’s golf joined Lim on the Academic All-District At-Large teams.
