• Vanderbilt track and field will close out its indoor regular season at home as the Commodores host the Music City Challenge on Friday and Saturday

THE LAST TIME OUT
• Vanderbilt track and field student-athletes broke gave five school record performances at the Bob Pollock Invitational and John Thomas Terrier Classic
• Janie Ford jumped 6.56 meters to win the long jump and break the school record
• Falon Spearman broke her school record in the 60-meter hurdles in both the semifinals and final at the Bob Pollock Invitational, clocking 8.07 seconds to finish second overall and first among collegiate runners
• Jayden Hill matched the 800 meters school record with a time of 2:04.24. She was the top collegiate and second overall finisher with her personal-best mark
• The 4×400-meter relay team of Faith Franklin, Ford, Spearman and Josie Donelson recorded a season-best time of 3:32.54, which broke the school record and earned a runner-up finish
• At the John Thomas Terrier Classic, Lily Kriegel reset the program record in the 3,000 meters. Her time of 9:06.30 was eight seconds faster than the previous record
• Commodores also registered 10 program all-time top 10 performances

DORES IN THE RANKINGS
• The Commodores check in at No. 35 in the USTFCCCA DI National Track & Field Rating Index
• Vandy is ranked sixth in the South Region
• Three Commodore event squads rank top 10 in the country. Vanderbilt’s 60-meter hurdles and long jump squads are ranked fourth nationally, while the Dores’ triple jumpers are sixth

FRESHMAN PHENOM
• For her efforts at the Bob Pollock Invitational, Ford was tabbed SEC Co-Freshman of the Week on Feb. 3
• Ford has broken three school records so far this season and has added marks to the program’s all-time top 10 list in three more events
• She currently leads the SEC and is ranked fifth in NCAA DI in the long jump with a 6.56-meter mark
• At the Bob Pollock Invitational, she also registered the No. 2-ranked 60 meters time and was a member of the school record-breaking 4×400-meter relay squad
• Ford also PRed in the 60-meter hurdles and is now tied for seventh in program history

OVER THE HURDLE
• Spearman has now broken her own school record three times this season, registering a top time of 8.07 seconds at the Bob Pollock Invitational
• Spearman is ranked fourth in the SEC, tied for seventh nationally in the 60-meter hurdles
• At the Commodore Challenge, Devyn Parham, Santana Spearman and Taylor McKinnon PRed to improve their marks as the third, fourth and fifth-ranked 60-meter hurdlers in Vanderbilt history
• At the Vanderbilt invitational, Taylor McKinnon won the 60mH final with a personal-best time of 8.27 seconds, which moved her into fourth all-time at Vanderbilt

FLIGHT CREW TAKING OFF
• The Commodores’ long jump and triple jump squads are ranked top 10 nationally
• Three Dores have reset the long jump school record this season
• The program record is currently held by Ford at 6.56 meters
• Lena Gooden and Anaya Webster are No. 2 and 3 in school history with respective marks of 6.30 and 6.23 meters
• Vandy has a trio of triple jumpers who rank top 15 in the SEC
• Pryncess Jackson owns the No. 2-ranked mark in school history at 12.73 meters
• Anya Carey and Webster are fourth and fifth in Vandy history with respective marks of 12.49 and 12.47 meters

SPRINT SUCCESS
• Commodore sprinters have notched 15 marks ranking top 10 in program history so far this season
• At the Bob Pollock Invitational, the 4×400-meter relay team of Franklin, Ford, F. Spearman and Donelson broke the school record
• Donelson and Franklin are both ranked top 50 in the nation in the 400 meters at this point in the season with respective times of 53.19 and 53.43 seconds
