EUGENE, Ore. – Vanderbilt track and field’s Lily Kriegel won two medals at the USATF U20 Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field Thursday and Friday.
Thursday, Kriegel clocked 16:18.36 in the 5,000 meters to win the event and move to seventh on the program all-time top-10 list. On Friday, she earned a bronze medal in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:26.92.
Competing in the heptathlon, Devyn Parham ended Day 1 ranked second, recording personal bests in the shot put (11.25 meters) and 200 meters. Her 24.14-second time in the 200 meters is ninth all-time at Vandy. She also turned in a PR in the javelin, recording a 23.79-meter mark.
