Vanderbilt Unveils Television Slate

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Top-ranked Vanderbilt will make a dozen national television appearances including 11 on the ESPN family of networks, the Southeastern Conference announced Wednesday.
 
Two nonconference games are set for national broadcast including the Commodores’ Feb. 15 season opener against Virginia, which will air on MLB Network at 6 p.m. CT. Vanderbilt’s May 7 ‘Battle of the Barrel’ matchup at Louisville can be seen on ESPNU.
 
Three SEC tilts will be broadcast on ESPNU including home games against Arkansas (April 13) and Auburn (April 25) and on the road at South Carolina (May 4).
 
Vandy will appear seven times on the SEC Network including twice against Tennessee (March 30-31). The network will also carry single games against Florida (March 21) Georgia (April 7), Arkansas (April 12), Alabama (April 20) and Auburn (April 26).
 
The SEC Network will air special “Bases Loaded” whip-around coverage on the final Friday night of the season (May 17). “Bases Loaded” telecasts feature portions of every game on one night of the SEC season. 
 
The final weekend of the season consists of wildcard games on Thursday, May 16, and Saturday, May 18, in order to televise games of the most significance to the conference race.  Wildcard games will be announced in early May.
 
All 34 Vanderbilt home games can be viewed on SEC Network+ which is available through the WatchESPN app. Kevin Ingram (play-by-play) and former student-athlete Andrew Harris will call the action on games exclusive to the digital platform.
