Dress for Success Nashville Website
NASHVILLE– The Vanderbilt women’s basketball team has partnered with Dress for Success Nashville to host a purse drive at all home games in December culminating with the Georgia game on Jan. 4. Fans are encouraged to bring new and gently used purses to donate to the program to that helps women “Dress for Success.”
“We are excited to partner with Dress for Success Nashville and help this amazing organization with a purse drive,” said head coach Stephanie White. “This is the perfect opportunity to donate need-based items. So, I challenge everyone to clean out your closets and bring your new or gently used purses to our home games in December.
Fans will be able to drop off their purses in bins at all entrances to Memorial at women’s games beginning with Saturday’s matchup with Memphis at 6 PM. The team will submit their donation to Dress for Success at the SEC opener against Georgia on Jan. 4 with a special presentation.
