On campus in Nashville — Vanderbilt fans are likely familiar with the name Chris Marve. Marve was a standout linebacker at Vanderbilt from 2008-11, earning All-SEC accolades in each of his four seasons in Nashville. Today the 27-year-old Marve is the inside linebacker coach at his alma mater, coaching defense under head coach Derek Mason.
The Commodore Insider Podcast caught up with Marve to discuss his journey to Vanderbilt as a player, when he first learned he wanted to coach and what he’s learned as a member of Mason’s coaching staff. Marve even opens up about his short stint as a middle-school teacher.
