Coach Mason met with the media to preview the upcoming football season for the Commodores. Mason was joined by offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig and new special teams coordinator Jeff Genyk as they talked about improvements made in the offseason as practices begin this Thursday. Sophomore quarterback Kyle Shurmur, junior wide receiver Trent Sherfield and senior offensive lineman Will Holden talked about offensive expectations going into the season. Junior safety Ryan White, redshirt-junior linebacker Oren Burks and senior defensive lineman Torey Agee discussed the defensive side of the ball along with their roles for this season. First official practice starts this Thursday, August 4th at 7:30pm CT with media availabilty after practice is over. Practices this Saturday, August 6th and Sunday, August 7th are open to the public and begin at 4:10pm CT each day.
