NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt will hold its annual fan appreciation game on Sunday when the Commodores host Ole Miss at 2 p.m.
The game has been designated as the team’s “Jam the Gym” game and all tickets cost just $1. After the game, Vanderbilt will hold a free mini-clinic and autograph session on the court.
Vanderbilt will be looking for redemption against the Rebels, who erased an 18-point deficit to knock off the Commodores earlier this season in Oxford, Miss. Vanderbilt (13-7, 4-3 SEC) is 10-0 at home and has won 13 straight home games against Ole Miss (9-9, 2-4 SEC). The game will air on SportSouth with Dave Neal and Carol Ross on the call.
Prior to tipoff of Sunday’s game, Vanderbilt will recognize senior guard Jence Rhoads, who became the 33rd player to reach 1,000 career points on Jan. 15.
Halftime of Vanderbilt’s game against Ole Miss will feature a youth cheerleading group. During the game fans will also have an opportunity to win catering for 20 from Fiesta’s Catering.
Vanderbilt has just five home games remaining. The Commodores’ game against Kentucky on Feb. 20 will be their annual Pink Out game to raise awareness of breast cancer. The first 1,000 fans will receive a pink carnation from Emma’s Flowers and a pink t-shirt. Vanderbilt will hold Senior Day festivities following its game against Florida on Feb. 24.
