For two decades, the nation’s top shooters and showmen have put their skills on display in advance of college basketball’s national semifinal and championship games. Commodore senior Shan Foster joins the fun this Thursday night in San Antonio at St. Mary’s University for the 20th Annual State Farm 3-Point Championship, joining seven of the nation’s top collegiate shooters in an event that will air on ESPN at 8 p.m. CT.
Foster, Vanderbilt’s all-time leading scorer and three-point field goal leader in makes and attempts, is joined by Drew Neitzel of Michigan State, Chris Lofton of Tennessee, A.J. Graves of Butler, Derrick Low of Washington State, Jamar Butler of Ohio State, Brian Roberts of Dayton, and Jaycee Carroll of Utah State in the competition.
The event will also feature the leading women’s basketball three-point shooters and the slam dunk competition, which will be judged by David Robinson, Emmitt Smith, Limas Sweed, and Kellen Winslow, Jr.
