NASHVILLE — Vanderbilt’s baseball game against Illinois-Chicago, scheduled for 2 p.m. CT Saturday, has been postponed due to snow.
The teams will attempt to conclude the series Sunday at 1 p.m. Whether it will be a doubleheader or single game has yet to be determined.
Additional accumulation of snow is not expected and the Vanderbilt grounds crew will spend today getting the field ready for tomorrow.
Illinois-Chicago won the first game of the series 2-1 on Thursday in its final at bat in the ninth. Vanderbilt did the same on Friday, scoring four runs with two outs in the ninth to win 5-4 and even the series.
