NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt tennis teams will continue non-conference action this weekend, with the No. 12 women’s squad (2-0) facing No. 4 Notre Dame Saturday followed by No. 29 Michigan Sunday on the road and the Commodore men (1-0) facing Western Michigan and Memphis on Saturday and Sunday, respectively at the Currey Tennis Center in Nashville.
The weekend road matches will be the women’s squad last opportunity to tweak skills before the ITA Tournament February 1-4. The Commodores had a disappointing finish last season, dropping a 4-3 contest in Texas Christian in the first round.
The Commodore men will be looking to improve upon their 1-0 record following a 6-1 sweep over Tennessee Tech Wednesday, Jan. 24.
