Vanderbilt Travels to Arkansas Saturday

Vanderbilt takes to the road for the fourth time in its last five games Saturday travelling to Arkansas for a 2 p.m. contest. The game will not be televised.

The Commodores (11-2, 2-0 Southeastern Conference) outlasted Kentucky, 57-52, on Tuesday to register their first win at Rupp Arena. Shan Foster led Vanderbilt with 16 points while DeMarre Carroll recorded his first career double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Derrick Byars added 12 points and Julian Terrell posted 11 points and eight rebounds.

Arkansas (11-4, 0-2 SEC) dropped a 63-58 home decision to LSU on Wednesday. Ronnie Brewer scored a team-high 16 points while Darian Townes contributed 14 points and eight rebounds.

Arkansas leads the all-time series 10-7 and holds a 6-1 advantage in Fayetteville. Vanderbilt’s lone road win in the series (80-73) came in 1996.
