Commodores Fall to Princeton, 3-0 9/12/2004 The Vanderbilt women’s soccer team faced another tough loss today as they closed out play in the U Penn Invitational Tournament by losing to Princeton, 3-0. — Box Score — Goalkeeper Niki Reed registered nine saves but the Commodores could not contain the offensive force from the Princeton Tigers. The Commodores saw substantial time from junior Kari Boersma who is playing with a half-arm cast. Other Commodores who put forth contributions to the game included excellent play from Lea Lafield, Kim Perkins and Jessica Fear. Women’s soccer returns home one week from today (Sept. 19) when they face Drury at 4:00pm (CST). Please come out and show your support of Commodore athletics. |
