Jim Spivey, who ranks second on the all-time U.S. list for 1500 meters (3:31.01) and fourth in the mile (3:49.80) and holds the American record in the 2000 (4:52:44), is now the women’s cross country and distance running coach at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
