NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt has been tabbed the No. 4 overall seed in the NCAA Division I Tournament and will welcome Georgia Tech, Indiana State and Presbyterian to Hawkins Field for the NCAA Nashville Regional, the selection committee announced Monday morning.
The Commodores (40-15) are hosting the for the eighth time in program history and will have the opportunity to host the super regional round should they advance. The NCAA Nashville Regional is paired with the Greenville Regional, hosted by East Carolina.
Vanderbilt is making its SEC-best 15th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and hosting a regional for the sixth time in the last eight seasons.
Each regional field features four teams, playing in a double-elimination format. All 16 regionals are scheduled to be conducted from Friday, June 4 to Monday, June 7 (if necessary).
A small number of outfield tickets remain available for Regionals. Outfield all-session tickets are $70 and individual game tickets are $10.
Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased via vucommodores.com or by calling the Vanderbilt Athletics ticket office at 615-322-4653 during business hours beginning Tuesday, June 1.
Fan Fest activities for the Regional games are planned for outside of Hawkins Field on Jess Neely Drive. A game ticket is not required to participate in Fan Fest.
