Moore Earns SEC Co-Freshman of the Week

Set program record for 3-pointers in a single game

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — After a record breaking performance against Alabama State, Iyana Moore earned her first SEC recognition as Co-Freshman of the Week.

Moore paced Vanderbilt’s 94-42 victory over the Hornets with a career-high 32 points. Her record setting nine 3-pointers passed the previous mark of eight held by Christina Foggie, Meredith Marsh and Abi Ramsey.

Moore aided the Commodores to a single-game program record of 17 3-pointers breaking the record set in 1993. Moore’s 32 points tied for the third-most points in a single game by a Vandy freshman.
