Fans looking to cheer on the Commodores this football season from the south end zone will have to act fast to secure their tickets. Athletics officials announced on July 24 that less than 900 tickets remain available for the low priced seats in the south end zone.

With six home games, including matchups with the likes of South Carolina, Florida, Auburn and Tennessee, the tickets in the south end zone average out to just $21 per game. In addition to being highly affordable, seats in south end zone will provide fans with a great view of the new video board being installed in the north end zone.

“The value of our south end zone season ticket is unparalleled in the SEC,” Director of Sales and Marketing Steve Walsh said, “We want to continue to provide top quality family entertainment at a reasonable price and the enthusiasm of our fans in the south end zone helps to create a great home field advantage.”

In addition to the new video board, season ticket holders will also be treated to a new turf field surface as well as improved stadium lighting. Outside of the stadium, Vandyville, the official Vanderbilt tailgating area, will continue to grow with additional tents being sold as well as an expansion of the kids zone area that was introduced last year. Traditions such as Dore Alley, which highlights the team as they arrive at the football complex, and Star Walk, the pregame pep rally as the team enters the stadium, will once again be highlights for fans prior to kickoff.

To order football season tickets, fans can call the Vanderbilt Ticket Office at 615-322-GOLD (4653) or online.
