NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Senior Christina Rosca and sophomore Georgia Drummy will travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to compete in the main draw of the ITA All-Americans beginning on Wednesday at the Case Tennis Center LaFortune Park.
After picking up five victories to open the fall season, Wednesday will mark Drummy’s ITA All-American debut.
“It’s a great opportunity and experience. I’m hoping to just have fun this week and enjoy it,” said Drummy.
Last season, No. 15 Christina Rosca battled in the first round of singles qualifying matches defeating William and Mary’s Rosie Cheng in straight sets, 6-3, 6-0, to mark her spot in the second round.
In the second round, Rosca faced an SEC foe in Georgia’s Marta Gonzalez. Gonzalez confirmed her spot in the third round, 7-6, 6-4, concluding Rosca’s stint in the 2018 ITA All-Americans.
Earning a lone doubles victory this season, Rosca and Drummy will team up to compete in the main draw of doubles.
The main draw of the ITA All-Americansd will begin on Wednesday and the finals will be held on Sunday. The finals will air on ESPNU at 6 p.m. CT.
