Opening Serve: The fall season continues for the Vanderbilt women’s tennis team with seven singles entries and three doubles pairings at the ITA All-American Championships. The competition is slated for Oct. 1-9 in Cary, North Carolina.
Format: The tournament is broken up into prequalifying, qualifying and main draws.
Prequalifying is scheduled for Oct. 1-2, qualifying will take place Oct. 3-4 and the main draw is set for Oct. 5-9. Winners from the prequalifying will advance to the qualifying round. Winners will continue to move on to the main draw.

Last Time Out: Vandy opened the fall season with a strong showing at the Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic Sept. 16-18. Freshmen Bridget Stammel and Sonya Macavei won their respective singles flights with perfect 3-0 records.
Up Next: After the ITA All-American Championships, the Dores will host the June Stewart Invitational – set for Oct. 7-9 in Nashville.
