Commodore Baseball Fans —
Please note that on Saturday, April 25, several events on Vanderbilt’s campus will alter normal parking procedures for the Commodores baseball game with Mississippi State at 1 p.m. CT. Events include the Dave Matthews Band concert at Vanderbilt Stadium, the Music City Marathon, and a tennis tournament at the Currey Tennis Center.
Due to these events, free baseball parking will not be available around Hawkins Field. Baseball fans can park in the Terrace Place or Wesley Place garages, located off 21st Avenue, for free before 1:30 p.m. A free shuttle service will be available between these locations and Hawkins Field from 11:00 a.m. until one hour after the conclusion of the game. These locations will begin charging $10 for concert parking starting at 1:30 p.m. so be sure to park and get to the game early.
Medical Center surface parking lots (including those on Natchez Trace) and the 25th Avenue Garage will charge $20 for concert parking all day beginning at 6:00 a.m.
If you are planning to visit campus Saturday, please remember that it will be very congested. The information below details all parking procedures and road closures on that day:
Baseball Game
– All attendees must park in the Wesley Place or Terrace Place garages for this game. Parking is free until 1:30 p.m. A free shuttle service will be provided to and from the game beginning at 11:00 a.m. and will continue until one hour after the game.
25th Avenue and South Garages
– Starting at 6:00 a.m., attendants will begin charging off-campus visitors to park in these garages, which are parking sites for the Dave Matthews Band concert.
– If you are a Vanderbilt employee and have a valid University/Medical parking permit, you should be admitted into the garage at no cost.
Lots 73, 74, and 75
– Starting at 6:00 a.m., attendants will begin charging off-campus visitors to park in these lots. A valid University/Medical parking permit cannot be used in these lots.
Wesley Place Garage
– Starting at 1:30 p.m., attendants will begin charging off-campus visitors to park in this garage.
– Vanderbilt employees with a valid University parking permit may park for free.
Terrace Place Garage
– Starting at 1:30 p.m., attendants will begin charging off-campus visitors to park in this garage.
– Vanderbilt employees with a valid University parking permit may park for free.
Campus Street Closures
– Starting at 6:00 a.m., Jess Neely and Natchez Trace will be closed for the Dave Matthews Band concert on Saturday.
– Starting at 6:00 a.m., Vanderbilt Place (between Natchez Trace and 31st Avenue only) will be closed for street parking.
Off-Campus Street Closures
– West End, 21st Avenue, Demonbreun, and many other surrounding roads will be closed for the Music City Marathon on Saturday.

– Attendees for this event have already been identified and will receive hangtags and instructions for parking from the Tournament Director.
