Commodores set to compete at Bulldog Invitational

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt  men’s tennis will head to Athens, Georgia, this weekend for the Bulldog Invitational, Oct. 8-10. 

The Commodores will be joined by a competitive field, including the host Bulldogs, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Charlotte, Wilmington, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Furman, Georgia State and Miami.

Play will begin at 9 a.m. ET each day with two rounds of doubles and a round of singles on Friday, vice versa on Saturday and a round each on Sunday. Access to live scoring and video should be available here.

Most recently, at the ITA Regionals, sophomore Jeremie Casabon and junior Joubert Klopper each competed in singles and made it all the way to the quarterfinals. Both Macsen Sisam and Harwell played for a spot in the quarterfinals but fell to No. 105 Francois Musitelli (Kentucky) and No. 109 Stjin Stump (Middle Tennessee), respectively. In doubles play, Siim Troost and Michael Ross as well as Freeman and Harwell both made it to the Round of 16.

Following the trip to Athens, the Commodores will round out the Fall as hosts of their annual Commodore Classic. A full Fall schedule is here.
