NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt welcomes Commodore fans to Hawkins Field Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, if necessary, to watch the College World Series Championship Series featuring Vanderbilt and Mississippi State.
Gates open at 4 p.m. each day with Vanderbilt’s clear bag policy being enforced. No outside food, drink or coolers will be allowed into the stadium with parking available on levels 9-11 in the 25th Avenue Garage.
Fan activities run from 4-6:30 p.m. each day on the concourse with inflatables, face painting, cornhole, Jenga, Connect Four and a balloon artist. On Monday evening, Commodore football student-athletes will also be at Hawkins Field for a meet and greet session. Vanderbilt will provide items to be signed. Fans cannot bring their own items for signatures.
When the 6 p.m. first pitch arrives, fans can watch a stream of the game on the video board. Blankets and folding chairs are allowed to watch the game from the outfield, but no lawn chairs, food or drink will be allowed on the field. Concession stands and Daddy’s Dogs food truck will be open.
In the case of inclement weather, Vanderbilt’s multipurpose facility will host the event with doors opening at 5 p.m. No food or drinks will be allowed in the facility. Indoor fan activities will include cornhole, Jenga and Connect Four.
