Q: Why did you choose to commit to Vandy?
Brown: “I chose Vanderbilt because it’s the total package that I was looking for in a university, lacrosse program and college experience. The lacrosse program has the best team culture I have ever seen and I couldn’t be happier with the girls and the coaches I am surrounded by every day. As for education, Vanderbilt has the high-level academics I was looking for to guide in preparing me for the future. Getting to go to school in such a fun city like Nashville only adds to the list of things that make this place so great.”
Q: What are your academic goals while at Vanderbilt and longterm?
Brown: “I want major in the architecture program (ABE) here at Vanderbilt with a minor in history. I hope to go to a grad school to pursue becoming an architect.”
Q: What made you decide you wanted to continue lacrosse in college?
Brown: “I love playing the sport, and it has been a part of my life for such a long time. It has brought the best people into my life, and I love being a part of the team culture and competitive atmosphere.”
Q: What would you say your biggest strength as a player is?
Brown: “I love playing around the crease and the low left side where there is opportunity to drive to cage and feed the ball.”
Q: What about Nashville are you most excited to explore?
Brown: “I am excited to explore all of the new restaurants and to try all sorts of food.”
Q: What are your hobbies outside of lacrosse?
Brown: “I love to play pickle ball and paint in my free time.”
Q: Do you have any hidden talents?
Brown: “It would no longer be a hidden talent if I revealed it.”
Q: What is a random, fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
Brown: “One time I was stuck in an elevator.”
