Q: Why did you choose to commit to Vandy?

Gladding: “Vandy has been my dream school since I was little. Nashville is such a great city to be in. Everyone is always so nice. The campus is amazing and it does not get too cold.”

Q: What are your academic goals while at Vanderbilt and longterm?

Gladding: “I am unsure exactly what I want to do in the future but am excited for the challenge that Vanderbilt and its academics bring. They offer a lot of great courses and opportunities that I can’t wait to explore.” 

Q: What made you decide you wanted to continue lacrosse in college?

Gladding: “I have always loved lacrosse since I started and knew I didn’t want to finish it after high school. I love the competitiveness of the sport and the relationships that lacrosse has given me and I wanted to continue that in college.”

 Q: What would you say your biggest strength as a player is?

Gladding: “My biggest strength is being able to adapt to new environments and new teams.”

Q: What about Nashville are you most excited to explore?

Gladding: “I am excited to try new restaurants and explore the shopping.”

Q: What are your hobbies outside of lacrosse?

Gladding: “I love to go boating with my family and my friends.”

Q: What is a random, fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

Gladding: “My first job was an alligator tour guide in the Everglades.”
