Georgia Tech Jackets the 'Dores

The No. 12 Commodores fell 7-0 to No. 15 Georgia Tech (8-2)in their first non-tournament road match of the season.

The Commodores (10-2, 2-0) earned one win in the contest with No. 3 doubles team Liberty Sveke and Courtney Ulery. The tandem defeated Allison Silverio and Kacie Anson 8-4.

In singles, Taka Bertrand and Caroline Ferrell were the only ‘Dores to drop their contest in a tie-breaker set. Bertrand played super tiebreaker against Lyndsay Shosho, but fell 7-4.

The Commodores will continue their three match road stretch with Arkansas this Friday followed by LSU on Sunday.
