Purchase Commodore Football Tickets
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tickets remain available for Vanderbilt’s upcoming game against No. 10 South Carolina, Commodore athletic officials announced today.
The Commodores (2-3, 1-1 in SEC East) and Gamecocks (4-1, 2-1 in SEC East) will face off on Saturday, October 23 in Vanderbilt Stadium. Kickoff for the Vanderbilt homecoming affair should be announced this afternoon.
Vanderbilt Director of Sales & Marketing Steve Walsh said tickets also remain for three other Vanderbilt home games later this season – Florida (Nov. 6), Tennessee (Nov. 20) and Wake Forest (Nov. 27).
“Coming off the team’s win over Eastern Michigan, this is a great opportunity to watch the Commodores as we host one of the SEC’s hottest teams in South Carolina,” Walsh said. “It’s also a perfect opportunity to visit campus with homecoming scheduled and all the activities surrounding Reunion Weekend.”
Both Vanderbilt and South Carolina are coming off big victories last Saturday. The Commodores registered their highest point total in more than a decade in a 52-6 victory over Eastern Michigan. Steve Spurrier’s Gamecocks topped Alabama impressively 35-21 with ESPN College Gameday on campus, giving South Carolina its first victory ever over a No. 1-ranked opponent.
This also marks South Carolina’s first visit to Vanderbilt since the Commodores notched a 24-17 win in 2008 before an Thursday night sellout and ESPN2 national television audience.
A limited number of discounted season tickets starting at $125 each also are available for the four remaining Vanderbilt home games.
