NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt football announced its annual Black and Gold Spring Game to be held on April 18, 2026, at FirstBank Stadium.
It will be the first look at Clark Lea’s sixth-edition team. Last fall, the reigning back-to-back SEC Coach of the Year led the Commodores to the program’s first 10-win season, six of which were SEC wins, also the most in program history. Named the 2025 Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year, Lea led the black and gold as the Dores entered the Associated Press rankings in September and remained ranked for the next 13 weeks — after having never spent more than four weeks in the poll in a season. They were ranked as high as No. 9, the program’s best since 1937.
Details surrounding the game will be announced at a later date.
