GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida guard Noah Locke scored 19 points to lead the Gators to an 84-66 victory over Vanderbilt on Saturday night at Exactech Arena.
The Commodores were led by junior Saben Lee, who scored a game-high 23 points, his fourth consecutive game with 20 or more points and his ninth 20-point game of the season. Freshman Scotty Pippen Jr. also added double figures with 12 points.
The Gators shot 51.9 percent from the field and limited the Commodores to 39.6 percent, including a 21.7 percent in the first half, and never trailed in the contest.
Vanderbilt returns to the floor Tuesday night when the Commodores travel to Knoxville, Tennessee, to play the Volunteers at Thompson-Boling Arena. Tip off is set for 5:30 p.m. CT (SEC Network).
