NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt’s Connor Fennell was named Third Team All-America, D1Baseball announced Tuesday.

Fennell was electric down the stretch for the Commodores and finished his sophomore season with a 6-0 record, two saves and a 2.53 ERA. Fennell totaled 84 strikeouts over 53.1 innings and walked just 11 batters. He held opposing hitters to a .174 average and his 14.2 strikeouts per nine innings ranked among the nation’s leaders in 2025.

In SEC games, Fennell led the league in opponent batting average at .178.

The right-hander earned Third Team All-America honors from the NCBWA and a Second Team All-Region nod from the ABCA last spring.

Vanderbilt will enter the 2026 campaign ranked No. 23 in the D1Baseball poll. The Commodores open the season February 13-15 at the Shriners Children’s College Showdown in Arlington, Texas.
