NASHVILLE, Tenn. – With the Vanderbilt women’s tennis team currently playing in the SEC Fall Coaches Classic, two members of the team have been selected in the Campbell’s/ITA preseason rankings.
The doubles pair of juniors Chelsea Preeg and Jackie Wu are ranked No. 13 by the ITA, the fourth highest-ranked pair in the SEC. Preeg and Wu ended the 2010 season ranked No. 42 after compileing a 28-10 record, including an 11-6 mark in dual matches and a 4-3 record against SEC opponents.
The Commodores will continue fall competition Sept. 24 at the Furman Fall Classic in Greenville, S.C.
