NASHVILLE, Tenn. β No. 25 Vanderbilt soccer secured a top-25 win over No. 16 Georgetown in a 1-0 decision on Thursday night at the Vanderbilt Soccer Complex.
The win marked the Commodores’ first over a top-25 opponent since defeating No. 25 Clemson in the 2022 NCAA Tournament.
Midfielder Ally Bollig provided the difference just before halftime, registering her first career goal in the 43rd minute for Vanderbilt (5-1).

Graduate keeper Sara Wojdelko anchored the Commodores with a season-high nine saves, posting her second shutout of the year and the 13th of her career.

Georgetown (2-1-2) outshot the Dores 13β8 and earned eight corner kicks, but the Commodore defense held firm to preserve the clean sheet.
Vanderbilt closes the nonconference portion of the schedule on Sunday, visiting Middle Tennessee at 6 p.m. on ESPN+.
