Dores Battle in SEC Matchup

Celia-Belle Mohr and Marcella Cruz pick up singles court victories

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The No. 28 Vanderbilt women’s tennis team dropped its first of two SEC matches of the weekend 5-2 against No. 65 Arkansas.

The Commodores battled in doubles, but ultimately the Razorbacks won the doubles point, giving them the advantage heading into singles. No. 46 Celia-Belle Mohr fought and won in three sets to put Vanderbilt on the board. Marcella Cruz also contributed to the team score with a three-set Court 6 victory.
