Order Tickets: Cal State Fullerton at Vanderbilt | Road to Omaha DVD
Baseball fans won’t have to wait until 2012 to see Head Coach Tim Corbin and the Commodores take the field as Vanderbilt will host perennial national powerhouse Cal State Fullerton in a two-game series on Oct. 22 and 23 at Hawkins Field. Tickets for the games will be $7 for general admission in the infield and $5 for outfield seating and can be purchased by visiting the Vanderbilt Ticket Office, calling 615-322-GOLD (4653) or online at vucommodores.com. Processing fees apply to both phone and internet orders.
Corbin and his squad will square off against the Titans, who captured the national championship in 2004 and made the trip to Omaha in 2006, 2007 and 2009. The game time for Saturday’s matchup will be determined after the Vanderbilt-Army football start time is announced. First pitch on Sunday is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT.
Coming off their first College World Series appearance, Vanderbilt will look to several new faces with one of the best recruiting classes in the country already on campus. Along with 13 newcomers, the Commodores return five starters to the lineup.
