NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Jayden Davis is this week’s SEC Co-Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Davis led all SEC hitters with a .583 average this week, helping lead the Commodores to a series win over ranked LSU in Baton Rouge. Davis went 7-for-12 in the series and drove in eight runs with a home run and three doubles.
In Game 2 at LSU, Davis hit a go-ahead, two-run home run in the top of the eighth to give the Dores their first lead since the third inning and help even the series.

In the finale, Davis went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two RBI and two runs scored as Vandy run-ruled the Tigers in eight innings to win the series.
