Coquelin, Panarin Earn Academic All-District Honors

Men's tennis continues streak of CSC Academic All-District selections under head coach Scott Brown

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Juniors Hugo Coquelin and Danil Panarin received Academic All-District honors to conclude the 2026 season, announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Wednesday.

It is the second straight season Panarin has earned a spot on the All-District list. Since head coach Scott Brown’s opening year, Vanderbilt has had at least one player receive All-District honors each season.

Eligible nominees must be in the lineup for 75% of team-scoring competition while maintaining a GPA above 3.5. Out of the team’s 31 total dual matches, Panarin participated in 30, with Coquelin competing in 24. Panarin finished with a 3.75 GPA and Coquelin followed just behind with a 3.73 GPA.

Panarin posted 12 dual match wins in singles plays for the Commodores to go along with nine doubles victories. Coquelin produced 12 wins throughout dual match play, finishing with six each in singles and doubles.
