Commodores kick-off Ole Miss invitation

OXFORD, Miss. – On Friday morning the women’s tennis team began its first day at the Ole Miss Invitational in Oxford Miss. The tournament field consists of four teams; Ole Miss, Georgia, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt. The invitational showcases several schools from the SEC, providing great fall experience for the `Dores.

On day one of three, the Commodores compiled a 2-4 record in Oxford against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, as well as a 2-1 record in doubles against Georgia. Both Astra Sharma and Ellie Yates went undefeated in Friday’s action.
