Colton Hired at Kansas State

Volunteer Assistant Chase Colton will be an assistant at K-State

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt women’s tennis volunteer assistant coach Chase Colton has accepted a full-time assistant coaching position with the Kansas State University women’s tennis program.

Colton spent two seasons on the staff of Aleke Tsoubanos at Vanderbilt.

“What an absolutely incredible hire for Kansas State,” Tsoubanos said. “I am so grateful to Chase for the two seasons he dedicated to Vanderbilt women’s tennis. He made an immediate impact on our program. Chase is a fantastic young coach who is passionate about college tennis and puts his heart and soul into the student-athletes he coaches. We will miss him in Nashville and wish him all the best in his new role with the Wildcats.”

In his two seasons in Nashville, Colton helped the Commodores earn two NCAA Tournament appearances including a Sweet 16 berth in 2022.

Colton played collegiate tennis at Wisconsin posting a record of 61-42 in doubles for the Badgers. He was a two-time ITA Scholar-Athlete and three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection. He graduated from Wisconsin in 2020.
