Dylan Autenrieth
Assistant Offensive Line Coach
Dylan Autenrieth serves as Vanderbilt’s assistant offensive line coach. He joined the staff in 2022 as a graduate assistant, working with the offensive line.
In 2024, Autenrieth partnered with offensive line coach Chris Klenakis to rebuild the line and help Vanderbilt produce its first winning season and bowl win in over a decade. Implementing a new scheme, the Commodores blended three returners with three veteran transfers to produce results that produced significant offensive improvement.
Under the direction of Klenakis and Autenrieth, the line blocked for Diego Pavia as he set school records for rushing yards by a quarterback (801) and fewest interceptions (four). The Vandy offense finished third nationally in red zone scoring percentage (93.3%), 25th in tackles for loss allowed (4.46 per game) and 28th in third-down conversions (44.4%). It allowed the Dores to finish the season with the best scoring margin since 2013 and just the fifth positive scoring margin since 1975.
Autenrieth moved to Nashville following one year as a graduate assistant at Colorado State, where he worked with the offensive line and tight ends. In his time with the Rams, he helped mentor a pair of all-conference offensive linemen and Mackey Award finalist Trey McBride. He got his start in coaching as an offensive analyst at NC State, his alma mater, in 2020.
The Dallas, Georgia, native played for NC State from 2016-19, appearing in 27 career games as a tight end for the Wolfpack. He was a top-100 signee out of North Paulding High School.
Autenrieth graduated from NC State in 2019 with a degree in sport management.
